The Investment Ideas Club is a forum in which alumni portfolio managers review investment ideas submitted by Columbia Business School students. The club aims to foster the education and advance the skills of CBS students interested in investment management. Additionally, it offers portfolio managers a channel for interaction with current CBS students.
Meetings are held approximately once every two months, and each student is required to submit a write-up of a compelling investment idea. Attendance will be confined to those who submit investment ideas. All members are expected to briefly present their ideas at the sessions. The meetings are led and moderated by a panel of alumni portfolio managers who provide feedback to students about their proposals. Overall, the club provides a forum by which CBS alumni can offer support and advice to current CBS students.
